Dear Sir I have great pleasure in writing to you in order to commend Jay from your sales' team for the excellent customer service with which he has provided me during my efforts to buy a Tetrad Infinity Corner Group. Earlier in the week I telephoned Whitby Oliver with a price I had been given for a Tetrad Infinity which I felt was very competitve. Although at the time Whitby Oliver was unable to match this price, Jay assured me that this price could not possibly be a genuine one. However, I decided to place an order for the corner group with the other company. The following day Jay telephoned me to enquire as to the progress of my order and told me that I had done the right thing, but that I should check that the suite I had ordered was the full 5 piece suite which is displayed in all the photos. Earlier today I had an apologetic phone call from the company from which I had ordered the Infinity Suite informing me that they had made a mistake. They told me that normally the suite went for far more than the price they were willing to offer me, and that they had quoted me mistakenly for four of the five pieces. Beacuse of their error, the MD of this company was willing to offer me a lower price than they would usually offer even during their promotional periods because of the mistake they had made. Because I had already been impressed by Jay's attention to detail and his willingness to follow up my enquiry, I decided to give Whitby Oliver another call. I was delighted when Jay was able to beat even the improved offer that one of your competitors had made me, and I had no hesitation in ordering the Tetrad there and then. In summary, I have been very impressed by Jay's professionalism and customer care and I look forward to receiving a similar level of service from your delivery team when the Tetrad is ready for despatch and delivery. This is a major purchase for me as I have saved for nearly two years for my dream furniture, and I am very happy that members of your team recognise that quality service should accompany a quality product. I cannot praise enough the level of service I received from Jay at Whitby Oliver, from my first telephone call Jay was helpful, attentive and efficient. Jay sent me leather samples by post, answered all my concerns with regard to the suite fitting in my house, delayed my order whilst my wife and I decided on a colour change and even stored the suite for an additional couple of weeks until my lounge had been decorated!!! You will not regret buying from them... a first class company.

I found Whitby Oliver on the Internet, living in Devon, I was very happy to take free delivery of a stunning ROM chair, Jay in the shop was first class and the two delivery drivers were a credit to the firm, they delivered my chair at 8 o'clock on a Saturday night after a 12 hour day, still polite and extremely helpful. I would recommend this firm on its customer service alone. Great Job

After reading all the other testimonials and then speaking to the lovely Jay, I decided to place an order, obviously we dont live in the UK so it was with some anxiousness and concern, and to order something this big over the inernet too. I had absolutely nothing to worry about, as Jay kept assuring me. We had delivered yesterday to our door a Tetrad Eastwood Sofa, two winged chairs and the oblong footstool.....absolutely gorgeous and I could not be any more pleased ! Packaged well and no damage. The Swedish driver helped to unpack which was a great help. As with all testimonials you think...it cant quite be this true ?....well it can be and most certainly was for us. Customer service can be quite poor at times and we are all so ready to complain...but not with Jay and not with Whitby Oliver of York....and for this Jay I THANK YOU very much. So to all of you who 'have a look' at this site and think Oh I dont know....well just deal with Jay and you'll know. Thank you Jay from your very Happy customers in Stockholm, Sweden and I know now I will have no problems in ordering anything from you again. Keep up your kindness, honesty and good work ! Bought a large wardrobe recently. Sales staff were very helpful and answered queries promptly if they didn't know the answer immediately. Wardrobe was ready some weeks early but as room wasn't ready they were happy to hang onto it until we were ready. We needed one that could be delivered flat packed due to access to bedroom. No problem. It was delivered by two cheerful, efficient "lads" who assembled it and cleared up after them. Great service and at a competitive price. We will definitely use them again.

We ordered some ROM furniture and it was delivery yesterday - the furniture is fantastic and the communication from Whitby Oliver on the day of delivery was excellent.
The deliverers provided a top quality service - they were very polite and helpful. So, thank you very much indeed to Whitby Oliver and ROM. I would definitely buy from them again.

Have you ever met an Angel. Well I have His name is Jay - from Whitby Oliver. I have never met anyone like him - Jay put himself out to help me find what I was looking for. To me it was like looking for a needle in a haystack - he pulled out all of the stops - and managed to track down the specifics of what I was looking for. He not only checked outlets within UK but also Europe. Well done Jay and Thank you so much.

After visiting local stores to look at furniture, we decided we really liked the look of Rosjohn (Strongbow Furniture), but the prices appeared to be expensive. Back home we checked on internet, and found the Whitby Oliver website. We telephoned and spoke to Mark, the prices we were given where excellent. Your prices, with free delivery,knocked spots off of the local companies here in Norfolk. He also gave us advice about the options available for the furniture. Plus, he posted samples of the wood finishes. Our ordered items were delivered, as agreed, very efficiently, in excellent condition, and all of the boxes taken away. Our friends have made lots of compliments and comments about the Rosjohn, "Strongbow" furniture. We would both like to say a big thank you to all of the staff employed by Whitby Oliver, and we would certainly recommend your company.

I found that Whitby Oliver were prepared to give me a very competitive quote for Zero Stress chairs and footstools even though they had to deliver the furniture 80 miles from their base. We were also kept well informed of the actual delivery details.
